Parking FAQs

    If you are experiencing any difficulty completing your request for Visitor or Employee daily parking please refer to the frequently asked questions below to help you.
    Definitions
    • Employee Daily Parker:  True (direct) DOL employees; Not a Contractor, Intern, or from an external Agency.  An employee who does not have a monthly parking permit.
    • Visitor: A person invited by DOL officials; A person who needs to visit the building for one day to tend to business at DOL FPB.  All visitors must have a Sponsor in order to request parking.
    • Sponsor:  A direct DOL employee who can approve a visitor for parking; Must approve or decline visitor requests for parking.
    • Permit/Parking Pass:  Your pass will be sent via email once payment is received.  Visitors are responsible for printing their passes and must display the pass on the driver’s side of the dashboard.  Must be visible through the windshield.

    FAQ’s
    • The form is not loading on my screen completely.  It is cut off.
      • Usually this is a browser issue.  Try refreshing your browser page or switch to a different browser and then open the form
    • The form is not allowing me to type text.
      • Your Internet connection may be interrupted, frozen, or slow processing something in the background.   Try hitting the “ESC” key to clear, refresh your browser page, or switch to a different browser and then open the form.
    • I did not receive an email response. – Or –  I didn’t receive my receipt email with the parking pass attached.
      • Network may be slow, refresh your screen and wait a minute for it to show up.  If nothing then check your Spam or Junk folder. — If these efforts do not work please contact your Sponsor or the Parking Management Office at 202-693-5001 to request a copy of your email.
    • My Sponsor has not responded to my request.
      • Please contact your Sponsor or the Parking Management Office at 202-693-5001
    • I made a double payment in error, how do I cancel the extra payment?
      • Please contact Monument Parking at 1-866-275-5666 the same day in order to correct payment errors.
    • I no longer need parking on the day I selected.  How do I cancel?
    • You can send an email or call the Parking Management Office to inform them you will not need parking for the day. [email protected]   or   202-693-5001
    ** Please note: Parking payments are non-refundable as stated on the application.
